Homeless Support Services

The homeless issue in San Diego remains a significant and intricate challenge impacting the city. With a homeless population estimated in the thousands, the difficulties encompass affordable housing shortages, economic disparities, and limited access to mental health services. Despite ongoing efforts by local government and non-profit organizations to provide shelters and support, many individuals continue to grapple with basic necessities and encounter obstacles to achieving long-term stability. At PB Presbyterian, we actively host and offer various programs to aid the homeless community. Further details about these initiatives are provided below, or feel free to visit our office for additional information.

In addition to our Sunday Night Dinner Ministry for the unhoused population, PB Pres offers individuals experiencing homelessness the chance to use our address for receiving mail, whether temporarily or long-term. Those interested can visit the church office during designated mail service hours (listed below), where our staff will assist them with the registration process.

A photo ID is needed to receive mail.

We See You San Diego

We See You San Diego is a nonprofit that takes a different approach to seeing men and women leave chronic homelessness and addiction behind. Every Tuesday from 5 - 7 pm in the alley next to our church, We See You will be hosting a lavish dinner party for men and women who live on the streets. The dinner party is a place where relationships are built and an invitation is extended for guests to leave homelessness through in-patient medical detox, long-term residential recovery, and sober living sponsorships.

The evening includes:

- Restaurant style dinner service

- Gourmet coffee & dessert bar

- Live music courtesy of The We See You House Band

- Personal shopping services

- A hygiene supply bar

- Opportunities for prayer & conversation
